The Spooligan Skewa is a double-pronged stainless bait needle perfect for making neat baits which are both attractive to the fish and also cast well.

They are very good with soft baits such as crab, shellfish, blacks and bluey. They are also excellent for making up cocktail baits as the prongs allow you to hold the baits whilst you whip them together to form a neat and streamlined package. A streamlined bait will cast better and also hold all the important juices in place to help draw the fish to the bait.

The Double-prong design prevents the bait from spinning around the needle while whipping on bait elastic.

The Spooligan Skewa is fitted with a large comfortable handle which provides a good grip even when your hands are cold, wet or slimy with bait.

•  Stubby – (90mm prongs) Smaller or softer baits such as peeler crab, cart, mussels and frozen blacks.
• Pennell – (150mm prongs) Pennell-sized baits with a two-hook pattern
